Heartland Veterinary Services Ltd joins IVC Evidensia

We are delighted to announce that we have joined the IVC Evidensia family.

We will be able to continue providing your pets with the exceptional care you have come to expect from us, with the fantastic support of being part of a larger veterinary group.

Coronavirus update 

As the situation regarding Coronavirus evolves, we want to keep you up to date with changes we are making in practice. 

We have split our staff into two separate teams that will be operating independently with some vets also working from home. We have hand sanitiser available in the practice and we are disinfecting surfaces regularly. We are now able to do most routine work again as the lock-down has been relaxed so please get in touch if you would like to book an appointment. 

We would politely ask that you follow these temporary guidelines if attending the surgery for an appointment: 

  • After letting us know that you are here, please wait in the car (or outside the practice if you are on foot). 

  • Please try to nominate just one person to bring your pet in for it's appointment. 

  • When you get home after attending your appointment, we would ask that you phone us to settle your bill over the phone.

  • If you are in self isolation (or considered at risk), have been in contact with coronavirus or are experiencing the symptoms of coronavirus then please phone the practice to discuss the best approach to getting your pet treated.

We are getting daily deliveries from our supplier but we are receiving an unprecedented number of requests for medication so please give us 48 hours notice when ordering repeat prescriptions.

Our opening times are still 9am - 5pm and outwith these hours, an emergency vet will be available as usual.
